Spring at the Beach 2017
The Destruction of Giza (The sand castle)
We found a nice spot to lay right next to the Santa Monica Pier and as we approached where we would lay in the sand however I grew a little hesitant as there was a beautiful sand castle/village display of "The City of Giza" right next to us. At first I thought "Who made this? Are they still here admiring their work? I hope they don't mind my boys destroying this as i'm sure they would".
Right on cue, as soon as I released Fox from his stroller he ran right over to the city and went to work. I pulled my phone out as soon as I could. I didn't catch the first moment of attack but you could still hear the screams of the onlookers near by.
Did you hear the women cry out near by as Fox started to go in on the Great Pyramid of Giza? I looked over and they were all wearing Hijabs. I though "oh oh they might be extra offended". They weren't, we all basically shrugged our shoulders at the inevitable demise of "The City of Giza Sand Castle". One day I promise we will rebuild a replica of this one for another group of children to eventually destroy.
Flying Kites
Chloe has now ordered the boys two new kites. We should've known to bring two in the first place. When having children so close in age, everything you buy your should plan on getting one for each of them otherwise this will happen.
To close the evening out we walked over to "Bubba Gump Shrimp Company" and had a very nice dinner. We didn't take many photos as we hadn't decided on blogging yet, so next time we're out we'll get more content for the blog. Thankfully I did get this beautiful pic however:
